We are seeking a talented Backend developer to join our forward-thinking team at Nexxtlab Studio Tunisia working in close integrated process with our development team in our HQ in Luxembourg. You will be responsible to implement innovative software solutions, which will help grid operators, energy suppliers and other actors on the electricity supply chain to develop further opportunities. Help us in shaping today’s solutions of tomorrow’s energy problems
Analyzing requirements
Implementing backend solutions
Supporting frontend / public API functionalities
Java 8+ (with knowledge in Java EE 8 / Jakarta 9+ as a bonus)
Familiarity with Git and Docker
Relational Databases (such as PostgreSQL), and/or NoSQL Databases (such as MongoDB).
Designing and documenting APIs (OpenAPI)
Automated testing (Unit-, Integration- and E2E-Tests)
Angular 12+ and TypeScript, or an equivalent in modern web-technologies is nice to have.
Knowledge of the electricity domain, electro mobility, energy management or smart grids would be an asset.
A sense of data protection and software security.
Solid experience in using APIs for integrating backend services.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and prioritize issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent in English is a must. French is a plus.
Team oriented and self-organizing.
Drive to help shaping a cleaner future.
Passion for learning new technologies.
Languages: preferably working proficiency in at least 2 of the following: English, French, German, Luxembourgish. Additional languages welcome.
