Hardware connectivity

• USB-C power connector: 5VDC 3.0 A power supply (to be used with original Raspberry Pi power supply, does not support USB-C PD protocol)
• RJ12 connector (for connection to P1 port of your smart meter
• RJ45 connector (for connection to your local area network)
  
  

Caution

• Do not remove any labels from the Smartmaster Home.
• Do not pull the connectors using their cables.
• Place the Smartmaster Home on a flat surface.
• Do not drop the Smartmaster Home.
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the Smartmaster Home.
• Do not place the Smartmaster Home near hot objects.
• Do not cover the Smartmaster Home.
• Do not use the Smartmaster Home outdoors or in moist environments.
• Do not wet or splash your Smartmaster Home with water.
• Keep your Smartmaster Home clean.

Warning

• Opening the Smartmaster Home casing will invalidate any warranty claim. In the event of a claim, please contact your supplier (see contact details).
• Never use worn, damaged or dirty connectors and adaptors.
• If the Smartmaster Home is visibly damaged, immediately disconnect the cable from port P1 of the electricity meter and, after that, remove the USB-C power supply from the Smartmaster Home.
• Do not insert your fingers or other foreign objects into the connectors of the Smartmaster Home at any time.
• Assure that children or other unauthorised persons do not use the Smartmaster Home.
